​Program Overview
The Interactive Media Studio & Gallery is a countywide Career and Technical Education (CTE) program serving students from four Wicomico County high schools. Students come together in a collaborative studio environment to develop professional skills in graphic design, digital illustration, animation, video production, multimedia and digital media. Interactive Media Production (IMP) is a CTE pathway that prepares students to design, develop, and produce content across digital, print, and web-based platforms. The program emphasizes creative problem-solving, visual communication, and industry-standard production tools to build student readiness for careers and post-secondary study in media arts fields.

IMP integrates graphic design, digital illustration, animation, video production, audio production, applied media production, and introductory web-based media interactive media into a cohesive creative workflow.

• Digital Illustration and Graphic Design (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)

• Animation and Motion Design (Adobe Animate, Express)

• Video Production and Editing (Adobe Premiere Pro)

• Audio Production and Voiceover Work (Adobe Audition, Sound Booth)

• Branding and Visual Communication Systems

• Large-format Printing and Sublimation Production

• Vinyl Cutting and Physical Media Output

• Portfolio Development and Professional Presentation

These experiences mirror modern creative industry workflows where content is developed across multiple platforms and output formats. IMP emphasizes real-world workplace competencies such as employability skills, troubleshooting, communication skills, and professional file management.
