DECISIONS IN COLOR

Where Intention Shapes Mood

Student-designed abstract vector composition using a [color scheme] palette with custom tints, tones, shades, and gradients. The word “[descriptive word]” communicates the mood inspired by the colors.

Students explore how color choices influence mood by selecting a specific color scheme for an original abstract composition. They create and save custom swatches, develop tints, tones, shades, and gradients, and apply their palette to overlapping vector forms divided with Pathfinder tools. Each student completes the design by choosing a descriptive word that communicates the feeling created by their colors.
