Students create original outdoor scenes by arranging vector shapes into layered landscapes. Given the freedom to use their Illustrator skills in any way they choose, students experiment with mountains, trees, water, skies, animals, and atmospheric effects to develop depth, mood, and a personal visual style while using basic shapes, the shape builder tool, pathfinder options, unique gradients, and drawing tools.
